He sits up quickly in a panic, but his body immediately lets him know that it was a Bad Idea. He grits his teeth and ignores it, however, an after several deep breaths (and a lot of cursing) he attempts to get out of bed...
...and falls flat on his face. After more cursing, he's decided that maybe staying in bed is what he wants to do after all, and he climbs back in. He's tired anyway so he'll save exploring for later when it's less likely for him to repeat his encounter with the floor.]
